GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

04/08/2021

SERVE YOUR GENERATION

(Acts 13:36) For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;

Acts 13:36 tells us that King David served his generation. To serve means to perform duties, render services, or minister to other people. So when you serve, others must benefit. This is true love. Our theme scripture never said, David ruled over his people. It says, ‘he served his generation.’

Right now you are alive and part of this current generation. Are you serving others? Leadership is about serving others and not about ruling. As Christians, we have been called to do. Serve your generation so that when you leave this earth you would be remembered well. Halleluyah!

Meditation: (Acts 13:36) For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption;

Activity: Spend time in prayer and ask the Holy Spirit to help you serve your generation.

Confession: I am a man called to serve and render help to others in need. I rule only in the midst of my enemies but serve humans. My service to others speaks for me. The love of God is manifested through me. I am serving my generation. Halleluyah!

If you have never been born again then make the confession below.

I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
