LET YOUR SPIRITUAL EYES OPEN

(2 Kings.6.17) And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

There is a world beyond the natural realm that rules this physical world. Happy are those that can see and control things in that realm. In our theme scripture, we see an interesting situation where the servant of Elisha was in fear. The place where they lived had been surrounded by soldiers who wanted to kill Elisha. Physically speaking, it was a terrifying sight: but the Prophet was not afraid at all. This is because he had superior information from the spirit realm that they were surrounded by chariots of fire and angels who battle using horses. Halleluyah! Out of kindness, he prayed for the eyes of the servant to be opened spiritually, so that he could see what he was seeing. I pray that the LORD opens your spiritual eyes so that all your fears will dissipate. Halleluyah!

Activity: Spend time in prayer today. Tell the LORD to open your spiritual eyes from today forward.

Confession: My God is the Father of spirits. He has opened my spiritual eyes from today forward. I will see what the ordinary man cannot see for the anointing to see in the spirit is upon me. Halleluyah!
