GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL

18/06/2022

NO MORE EVIL SLUMBER

(Proverbs 24:33-34) A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

There is nothing wrong with taking rest or sleeping for God is happy to grant those He loves good sleep (Psalm 127:2). But it becomes a problem when you sleep too much and even worse when yours is a spiritual one. If you live your life this way, poverty shall be your end as pronounced in Proverbs 24:33-34.

Do you know everything you see with your physical eyes came from the spiritual world? (2 Corinthians 4:18; Romans 4:17). There is a world beyond what our physical eyes can see. And sometimes, to drag you from reaching the height God has for you, evil spirits put spiritual slumber on God’s children so that they won’t be able to do what they have to do. When that happens you may feel lazy to pray, meditate on scriptures, or even get tired before you start any work. This is not a good thing so you must resist it with the power of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit of God is driving any form of spiritual slumber from your path as you stay in prayer today. Declare that your time to hit big success has come. Halleluyah!

Confession: I refuse to sleep spiritually for my God neither sleep nor slumber. I am fully awake in the spirit and I am making giant strides every day. My success shall know no bounds by the power of the Holy Ghost. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

Congratulations

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
