AT THE NAME OF JESUS
(Philippians 2:10) that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth
The name of Jesus is an all-conquering name that works in heaven, the earth, and under the earth. The name of Jesus is the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus told His disciples to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This scripture reveals that there is a specific name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. When Jesus left the scene, the disciples always baptized the new converts in the name of Jesus. They understood that the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ (Acts 19:4-6; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5). It is with this understanding that Apostle Paul tells us in our opening verse that ‘at the name of Jesus’ every knee should bow, whether this knee is in heaven, earth or under the earth.
Do you need some evil power or condition to bow to you today? Use the name of Jesus. Just at the thought of the name Jesus, at the mention of the name Jesus, at the whisper of the name Jesus, at the discussion of the name Jesus, and at the use of the name, every knee will bow to you. Start using the mighty name of Jesus to your advantage as you stay in prayer now. Halleluyah!
Confession: At the thought of the name Jesus, at the mention of the name Jesus, at the whisper of the name Jesus, at the discussion of the name Jesus, and at the use of the name Jesus, every knee bows whether this knee is in heaven, earth, or under the earth. This all-conquering name of Jesus has been given to me. Therefore in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, my life is ordered to go in the way of the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, it is well with me, my family, my children, my academics, my job, and all that concerns me. Halleluyah!
