(Psalm 14:2) The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

Throughout all the ages, God has shown so much interest in man. When man sinned in the Garden of Eden, it was God who came looking for man (Genesis 3:9). Several years later, God was born as the man Jesus, who lived and died for the sin of the whole world (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:29; 1 Timothy 2:5-6). During Moses’ day, He was the one who approached Him in the form of a burning bush (Exodus 3:4).

So, it is His character and demonstration of love to look down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, and seek Him. The clue is this- the one who understands is the one who seeks the Lord. Amazingly, such people are labelled wise (Matthew 2:1). It is no wonder to see Apostle Paul ask us to examine ourselves as to whether we are in the faith daily. He cautioned us to test ourselves (2 Corinthians 13:5). Be that man God can look up to in this world. Ask the Holy Spirit of God to help you be that man as you stay in prayer today. Halleluyah!

Confession: The Holy Spirit of God has helped me to be that special man who God looks up to for I am a man of understanding, so I seek Him. Because of this, heaven has called me wise and so shall I be. I am blessed. Halleluyah!

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.

You can begin to attract God’s goodness into your life from today.
